Dharma College Weekend: Mind and Meditation and Asian Cultural Festival
Friday, April 21st:
For those of you who have missed the recitation of the words of the Buddha in Pali, we will be opening up the Dharma College temple to recite together a day of parts of the Tipitka. This wil begin at 9- 6 pm where we will have a keynote dharma talk in the evening on connecting to Wisdom.
Saturday, April 22nd:
If you are interested to learn more about mind and self, then join us for a day at Dharma College where you will be meeting senior instructors who will be giving insights on how to become more awake and aware, especially during these uncertain times. There will be programs throughout the day (each around 45 minutes during the day) from 10-4 pm.
Sunday, April 23rd:
On April 23rd, we have a public event to celebrate the Asian Cultural Festival with world-class performances from Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia (Khmer Krom), Tibet, India, Indonesia, and Japan being shown in the heart of Downtown Berkeley at the Civic Park. This will be from 10-5 pm. There will be an Asian Street Fair of food stalls and handicrafts as well. We will be partnering with many Asian communities along with our primary collaborator, the Downtown Berkeley Association.
Please register here so we can know how many will be attending on each day.
